COACHES QUOTES:

“Sport Tours International did a great job organizing our spring trip to San Antonio. The tour directors were very helpful and very flexible. The facilities were just right and the weather was great”.
Karen Borbee, Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach, Swarthmore College

“Sport Tours made our spring break feel like an actual vacation. Everything was well organized. As a coach, I only had to worry about practice and game preparation. The practice and game facilities were great and the transportation friendly and punctual. I would recommend Sport Tours to any school interested in planning a team trip”.
Carol Schmoeller, Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach, St. Mary’s College-Maryland.

ABOUT SAN ANTONIO

San Antonio is the second largest city in Texas and the seventh largest city in the United States. Located in the northern part of South Texas, the city is the cultural gateway to the American Southwest.

Famous for the Alamo, its River Walk ( www.thesanantonioriverwalk.com ), Tejano Culture and the home of SeaWorld San Antonio and Six Flags Texas Theme Parks, the city is visited by 20 million tourists each year. In early April 2008, San Antonio hosted the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four. It was the third time the championship had been held in San Antonio.

Attack 2009 participants will stay within a few minutes walk of the Alamo and the beautiful River Walk. The River Walk, which meanders through downtown, is lined with numerous shops and restaurants and there are fascinating and informative re-enactments at the Alamo on the weekends. Two of our 2008 teams spent an afternoon at SeaWorld and had a fabulous time.

The weather in March is delightful. Average high temperature is 74 (F) and the average low is 50 (F). Average rainfall in March is a scant 1.6 inches.
